Senate Bill 1580 (2012) approved Oregon's coordinated care model. Section 14 of the bill created the innovator agent role. Innovator agents have supported Oregon's coordinated care organizations (CCOs) from the beginning.
Today, innovator agents work with CCOs, providers, community partners, members and across the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). These collaborations advance:
Many innovator agents have been working with CCOs since they began in 2012. Each innovator agent offers the unique perspectives of their community. They do this in many ways to support CCOs and health system transformation:
