Beneficiary Advisory Council

About the Council

The new Beneficiary Advisory Council will:

• Provide input to Oregon Health Authority (OHA) leadership and
• Help ensure the Medicaid Advisory Committee makes decisions and recommendations that consider the voice and experience of Oregon Health Plan members.

The April 2024 Access to Care Final Rule requires all states to form a Beneficiary Advisory Council. Council members must include:

• Current and/or former Medicaid enrollees
• Family members of enrollees
• Paid or unpaid caregivers of enrollees
