CAREAssist helps people living with HIV or AIDS pay for medical care expenses.
The mission of the CAREAssist program is to improve the health of
HIV+ Oregon residents by paying for insurance premiums and
prescription/medical services co-pays.
Oregon Health Authority is proud to partner with Prevention Access Campaign's U=U campaign to share the word that Undetectable = Untransmittable.
Studies show that people living with HIV who are on effective
treatment, and achieve and maintain an undetectable viral load, have no
risk of transmitting HIV to their sexual partners.
The Bridge Program may be able to assist you while you are applying for CAREAssist.
Individuals who are not yet members of CAREAssist and need coverage for prescription medications related to their HIV care may be eligible for up to a 30-day supply through the Bridge Program.
This program can also assist with medical visits and lab work necessary to determine appropriate HIV treatment regimens.
