The Interagency Task Force on Healthy Homes was established by HB 2842 in the 2021 Legislative Session.

Final Report from the Interagency Task Force on Healthy Homes

The Interagency Task Force on Healthy Homes (Task Force) met on eight occasions between September 8, 2022, and December 15, 2022, to create this final report that was presented to the Governor, Legislature and Environmental Justice Council. The key findings of the Task Force are included in this report, along with recommendations for legislation to reduce barriers and expand program access and benefits, as required by the legislation. OHA’s Public Health Division provided administrative support to the Task Force.

Membership Information

  • Up to nine members appointed by the Governor from among the following groups:
    • Eligible entities likely to participate in the Healthy Homes Program;
    • Individuals with lived or professional experience germane to the Healthy Homes Program; and
    • Individuals with expertise and experience in performing home improvement work.
  • The Director of the Oregon Health Authority or the director's designee.
  • The Director of the Housing and Community Services Department or the director's designee.
  • The Director of the Department of Environmental Quality or the director's designee.
  • The Director of the State Department of Energy or the director's designee.
  • The Director of the Department of Land Conservation and Development or the director's designee.
  • The Director of Human Services, or a designee of the director who is an individual with expertise in developmental disability services.
