Tracking in Action - Workforce Implementation Tracking in Action provides real-life examples of CDC grantee Tracking Programs and Networks and how they have partnered with local programs and organizations to identify and address environmental health concerns. The course is hosted on the National Environmental Health Association's website. The course is free, but participants must register.
Info by Location Tool - CDC has released a new and improved Info by Location tool on the Tracking Network. You can now enter your county name or zip code and view infographic-style environmental health information about your county.

ArcGIS Training - ArcGIS is a software system that allows you to visually represent data by geographic location.
ESRI Resources and Training Links - This is the main online campus for ESRI, the makers of the ArcGIS software. This includes information on instructor led classes as well as online trainings or tutors, some of which are free.
Metadata
Federal Geographic Data Committee; Metadata resources and Information - The FGDC is tasked by Executive Order 12906 to develop procedures and assist in the implementation of a distributed discovery mechanism for national digital geospatial data. A metadata record is a file of information, usually presented as an XML document, which captures the basic characteristics of a data or information resource. This site lists some resources and information about metadata and the FGDC.
National Biological Information Infrastructure; Metadata presentation and resources - The U.S. Geological Survey provides information that describes metadata and provides links to additional metadata resources.
Environmental Public Health
The Public Health Assessment Process and the Community - Trainex, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This program provides an overview of the public health assessment process that the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry uses to evaluate whether people will be harmed by hazardous materials from waste sites or from other places where hazardous substances have been spilled or released into the environment.

Environmental Health and Risk Communication Training - Indian Health Service.
