Courier Information
The Oregon State Public Health Laboratory (OSPHL) provides courier services to healthcare facilities throughout the state for submission of specimens to our laboratory. This service is found through variety state and federal resources. Facilities are either set up with a scheduled, regular pick up cadence or can request pick-ups on an as-needed basis.
OSPHL has a regional courier services model (
view region map). DASH Delivery provides services in the western and southern areas of the state; STAT Courier provides services in the central and eastern areas of the state.

These resources are intended to help facilities understand OSPHL's specific courier system.
These materials are not intended to provide comprehensive training for transport of laboratory specimens or regulatory requirements for transporting laboratory specimens with all carriers.
Include a transport manifest with each package that details all specimens inside the transport container. This helps the lab verify we received each specimen you intended to send.
