Public Employee Flu Vaccination Clinics

The Public Employee Benefits Board (PEBB) will be hosting flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics for state employees and their dependents later this year. Influenza (flu) vaccines protect against the three influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common during the upcoming season. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says getting a yearly flu vaccination is the best way to prevent the flu and its potential serious complications.

According to the CDC, the COVID vaccine helps protect you from severe illness, hospitalization, and death. Vaccine protection decreases over time, so it is important to get your updated COVID vaccine.

The provider can provide a specific flu vaccine designed for the 65+ population if requested (please indicate a need for this when you schedule your appointment). The flu vaccine will be the latest formula and preservative free. The COVID vaccine will be the latest CDC/FDA approved formulation. Per the CDC, it is safe to receive flu and COVID-19 vaccinations at the same time.
