  • Over the last 18 months, the Board has been working hard to modernize our licensing database- and we’re happy to announce our new Self-Service Portal! Using the portal, anyone can search through individual licensees, file a complaint, or apply for an individual license. Additionally, current individual licensees have access to new tools to manage their license. Licensed facilities will have access to these tools in the coming months.
  • Information Relating to the Eternal Hills Cemetery and Instructions for Filing a Claim with the Bankruptcy Court. This document has recently been updated (April 29, 2019) and addresses many of the questions our office has received. The deadline to submit claims has been extended indefinitely, however individuals who belive they may have a claim are encouraged to submit their claim as soon as possible.
  • The Board has passed a temporary rule allowing permission for licensed funeral establishments to inter remains in non-operating cemeteries. In accordance with OAR 830-030-0003, if a dedicated cemetery is in receivership, bankruptcy, or abandoned and there is a pre-existing right of interment, a licensed funeral establishment may conduct that interment after first obtaining written permission from the Board. Click here for the Request for Interment Form.
