Overview

Effectiveness monitoring builds on a diverse range of monitoring activities and grants to help assess how well conservation and restoration efforts are working. By supporting monitoring efforts, OWEB and partners are able to:

  • Document current watershed conditions
  • Improve the understanding of watershed health
  • Track changes in critical habits and species over time
  • Measure the success of watershed improvement projects
  • Inform and prioritize future restoration efforts
