The Region 1 Area Commission on Transportation, also known as R1ACT, is an advisory body established to provide a forum for stakeholders to collaborate on transportation issues affecting Oregon Department of Transportation Region 1.

R1ACT is intended to strengthen state and local partnerships in transportation planning, programming and development.

The primary mission of R1ACT is to advise the OTC on state and regional policies affecting ODOT Region 1’s transportation system.

The committee is composed of 31 voting members including (but not limited to) private industry, transit agencies, stakeholders and elected officials.

R1ACT meetings are held on the first Monday of every other month. Meetings generally take place at the ODOT Region 1 Headquarters located at 123 Northwest Flanders Street, Portland, OR 97209. A few times a year, the R1ACT holds meetings within the region in communities outside of the Portland Metro Area.
