Community Advisory Council (CAC)

The Community Advisory Council (CAC) offers OEI guidance on serving the needs of racially and ethnically diverse communities in Oregon.

Cultural Competence Continuing Education (CCCE) 

The Cultural Competence Continuing Education (CCCE) advises OHA on the development of a process and criteria to approve a list of cultural competence continuing education opportunities.

Health Equity Committee (HEC)

The Health Equity Committee (HEC) is established by the Oregon Health Policy Board (OHPB). The purpose of the committee is to coordinate and develop policy that proactively promotes the elimination of health disparities and the achievement of health equity for all people in Oregon.

Oregon Council on Health Care Interpreters (HCI)

The Oregon Council on Health Care Interpreters (OCHCI) advises the Oregon Health Authority on administrative rules and policy standards for the Health Care Interpreter Program. The Council meets quarterly, and meetings are open to the public.

Traditional Health Workers Commission (THW)

The Oregon Health Authority's Traditional Health Worker (THW) Commission promotes the use of traditional health workers, such as Community Health Workers, Peer Support and Peer Wellness Specialists, Personal Health Navigators, and Doulas. Traditional health workers contribute to the delivery of high-quality, culturally competent care and lower costs.
