The Children's System Advisory Committee
The Children's System Advisory Committee (CSAC) was established in 2005 as a permanent committee of the Planning and Management Advisory Council (PAMAC). In 2013 the Council structure was modified with this Committee reporting directly to the director of AMH and advisory to the AMH Planning and Advisory Council (AMHPAC). This committee provides oversight of children's mental health system planning, coordination, policy development, fiscal development and evaluation of service delivery/functioning. The committee also addresses specialized issues and services for transition age youth and young adults.
The Statewide Children's Wraparound Initiative Advisory Committee (CWIAC) was combined with CSAC, for one combined meeting and agenda. CWIAC was formed in response to 2009 legislation directing OHA to establish this committee to advise and assist in the implementation of the Wraparound Initiative per ORS 418.985.
The CSAC and CWIAC membership includes representatives from child welfare, developmental disabilities, juvenile justice, education, coordinated care organizations, addictions treatment, family members, youth, advocates and providers.
