Air Quality & Health Outcomes Dashboard

Our new interactive data dashboard shows trends in emergency department (ED) and urgent care (UC) center visits, starting in 2020.

It includes:

  • Air quality data (daily maximum PM2.5 levels)

  • Health data:

    • Daily ED and UC visits for non-infectious respiratory illnesses (e.g., asthma)

    • Daily ED and UC visits for disaster-related mental health (e.g., anxiety)

This dashboard is updated in near real-time – new data is added every Friday. Data is presented at the state, county, and Healthcare Preparedness and Response Regions (HPR). It can also be viewed across different age groups and by race and ethnicity. This data is compiled from:

  • Oregon’s Electronic Surveillance System for the Early Notification of Community-Based Epidemics (OR-ESSENCE)
  • The National Syndromic Surveillance Program (NSSP)

  • Air Quality & Health Outcomes Dashboard

Oregon Tracking hosts a dynamic data explorer where you can view and download environmental hazard and health outcome data.
