Oregon Psilocybin Services - Alignment with Oregon's State Health Improvement Plan

The Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) section aligns with the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Strategic Plan, Public Health Modernization, and the State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP).

The new 2025-2029 SHIP includes a strategy to “Destigmatize psilocybin as a culturally responsive option for healing and wellness”.

OPS is working with the Public Health Division’s SHIP team to help tell the story of how this strategy contributes to achieving long-term public health goals. Together we will provide an annual review and report on progress being made.

Aligning with agency, division, and statewide public health goals is an important way that OPS can ensure client safety and access, with considerations for health equity at every level of decision making.
