​Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Health Care Provider Incentive Programs in Oregon, Jun. 2025​

This report evaluates health care provider incentives designed to grow Oregon’s workforce and informs efforts to increase access to culturally responsive care in urban and rural underserved areas of the state, as required by House Bill 3261 (2017).

Health Care Workforce Committee Gender-Affirming Care Provider Workgroup Report, Feb 2025​

This report details preliminary recommendations in ways to improve training, hiring and retention of gender-affirming care providers. The report is from the Gender-Affirming Care Provider Workgroup, under the Health Care Workforce Committee, and included members from the Health Care Workforce Committee, the Health Equity Committee and the House Bill 2235 workgroup on behavioral health workforce, with support from OHA staff and contractors.​

​Health Care Workforce Needs Assessment Report 2025​

This report is required by House Bill 3261 (2017), which directs the Oregon Health Policy Board (OHPB) and Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to produce a biennial assessment of the health care workforce needed to meet the needs of patients and communities throughout Oregon. This is the fifth such report, which provides insights into workforce needs in communities across Oregon and general guidance on how to expand and diversify the workforce.
