079 Salem Health - Santiam

Current Status

On July 3, 2026, Oregon Health Authority (OHA) received a request from Salem Health and Santiam Hospital & Clinics to exempt their proposed affiliation from Health Care Market Oversight review. On July 31, 2026, OHA granted an emergency exemption from HCMO review. Since the transaction is exempt from HCMO review, OHA does not have authority to impose conditions on the transaction or conduct follow up reviews.

Notice of Material Change Transaction

OHA accepted a complete notice of material change transaction and began a preliminary HCMO review on April 16, 2026. OHA began a comprehensive HCMO review of the transaction on May 5, 2026. The entities withdrew the notice of material change transaction July 3, 2026, ending the comprehensive review.
