Required Immunizations for Attending School and Child Care

In Oregon, school immunization requirements are unchanged for the 2025-2026 school year. School immunization requirements are made at the state level and are independent of federal recommendations. Oregon continues to recommend that children receive all vaccines recommended by American Academy of Pediatrics.

Required Immunizations

To attend schools and child cares in Oregon, children are required to be vaccinated. If a child is not up to date by the fourth Wednesday in February, they must be sent home and cannot return until the record is updated or an exemption is provided.
