To maintain licensure, a hearing aid specialist must complete a minimum of twelve (12) continuing education (CE) hours every authorization year. For the current CE requirements, please see Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR)
Continuing Education Frequently Asked Questions
Each authorization holder shall document compliance with the CE requirements through attestation on the authorization renewal application.
Documentation supporting compliance with CE requirement must be maintained by the authorization holder for a period of two (2) years following license renewal, and must be provided to the Health Licensing Office upon request.
