Oregon's Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program

About ORELAP

The Oregon Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ORELAP) is recognized by The NELAC Institute's (TNI) National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP).  Effective January 1, 2021, the 2016 TNI Standards is the accreditation standard for ORELAP laboratories.

ORELAP accredits qualified laboratories for testing under the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), and cannabis testing under ORS 475C.540 to 475C.590.  ORELAP also accredits psilocybin testing under ORS 475A.590 to 475A.622.

Accreditation Databases

The ORELAP Data Input and Edit (ODIE) tool is the online application holding information about laboratories accredited by the ORELAP Program.  Searching for an accredited laboratory may be done without registering as a user.  Creating a laboratory profile and submitting an application for accreditation requires user registration.

New: ODIE can now be searched by the public to find accredited labs
