Oregon's Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program

About ORELAP

The Oregon Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ORELAP) is recognized by The NELAC Institute's (TNI) National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP).

ORELAP accredits qualified laboratories for testing under the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), and Cannabis testing under ORS 475B.550 to 475B.590.

Effective January 1, 2021, the 2016 TNI Standard is the accreditation standard for ORELAP laboratories.

The ORELAP Data Input and Edit (ODIE) tool is an online application where registered users can create a laboratory profile, submit an application for accreditation, and maintain their current accreditation.

The Laboratory Accreditation Management System (LAMS) is a database maintained by TNI.  If you are looking for an accredited laboratory to perform environmental testing, search LAMS.  For ORELAP accredited laboratories, set the accreditation body search field to "Oregon Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program".
