Behavioral Health Committee

Background

Section 16 of House Bill 2086 (2021) called for the Oregon Health Policy Board to establish the Behavioral Health Committee. The committee’s purpose is to direct the work of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to:

  • Share their perspective to allow a thoughtful review of how the system is functioning and help identify needed system improvements.
  • Work toward OHA’s goal of achieving health equity by 2030 and use a health equity lens in all its work.
