Primary Care Office

The Oregon Primary Care Office (PCO) works to improve access to equitable health care for Oregonians in underserved and rural areas so they may achieve optimum health and well-being.  With annual funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA), the PCO supports practices, providers, and communities in identifying and addressing health care workforce shortages in Oregon. The PCO’s efforts help the federal government decide where to focus funding in areas throughout the state to recruit and retain health care professionals.
