Qualified Status Change (QSC)
A Qualified Status Change (QSC) event is a change in work or family status that allows limited changes to benefit plans outside the annual Open Enrollment period.
The QSC Matrix is a document showing each qualifying event, the changes allowed for each, and how long after the event a member can submit a change request.
Most events require change requests to be submitted to your employing entity within 31 days.
