Standards of Case Management in Oregon

The Oregon Health Authority, HIV Program has a commitment to increase access and decrease disparity for persons living with HIV and their affected family members. As part of this goal, the HIV Care and Treatment program standardized case management services throughout Oregon in 2001.

Treatment Adherence: The HIV Client Services program recognizes the importance of treatment adherence. The program is committed to providing information and tools to help HIV Case Managers learn more about how they can help clients with treatment adherence issues.

Program Eligibility: Client must be HIV positive, enrolled in HIV Case Management, and must define their primary residence as in Oregon. To qualify for Ryan White financial assistance, a client's gross income can be no more than 250% of Federal Poverty Level (FPL).

Standards and Forms/Guidance

These standards have been implemented statewide and are designed to provide guidelines which help assure that program funds are spent on services that are in compliance with generally accepted standards of professional care.

The Services Definitions & Guidance document provides case managers with valuable definitions, program and reporting guidance on Ryan White Part B eligible services.
