What does this course cover?
The ADA Curb Ramp Inspector and Contractor certification curriculum provides guidance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it relates to Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) facilities. The online self-guided training course will cover the use of ADA curb ramp inspection forms, the use of tools, best inspection practice and measurement guidance. It will also give instruction for how to submit forms and where to send them.
Learners must complete the following steps in order to qualify for a 2-year certification.
- Step 1 - ADA Curb Ramp Inspection Training for Certification (online)
(8 hours) - Step 2 - ADA Curb Ramp Inspection Training Exam for Certification (online)
(90 minutes) - Step 3 - ADA Curb Ramp Inspection Field Exam for Certification (in-person)
(9 hours)
This certification is required for anyone who would like to become certified as a Certified ADA Inspector or Certified ADA Contractor.
How long is certification valid?
Completion of all three parts of the ADA Curb Ramp Inspection courses will qualify as a 2-year certification.
