Current Status

OHA accepted a complete notice on March 20, 2025. On April 18, 2025, OHA completed its preliminary review and began a comprehensive review of this transaction. OHA asked for more information from the entities on June 13, 2025, and confirmed it had received complete responses to these requests on November 20, 2025. See the documents posted under "Materials from June 13, 2025 request for information" below. On December 5, 2025, OHA issued a second request for information from the entities to inform its review. The comprehensive review period is currently tolled until OHA confirms it has received complete responses to this request. 

OHA is accepting public comments throughout the review period. To submit a public comment, include the word "Compassus" in your comment and share your comment in one of these ways:

In July 2025, OHA fielded surveys to current and former employees of Providence Home Health and Hospice in Oregon and Washington. The Oregon and Washington surveys are reproduced below. Both surveys closed on September 30, 2025. OHA posted the results of the Oregon survey on December 12, 2025.
