Health-Related Social Needs Provider Training

The Oregon Health Authority offers trainings for health-related social needs (HRSN) service providers.

2026 HRSN provider office hours

Enrolled HRSN service providers are invited to monthly office hours. During these sessions, HRSN providers can ask Oregon Health Authority subject matter experts questions about providing HRSN services.

OHA will hold 2026 office hours on the second Wednesday of each month, unless conflicting with a holiday. All sessions will be 8:30‒10 a.m.

Community information exchange support for HRSN providers

Unite Us/Connect Oregon for Open Card HRSN service providers

Open Card HRSN service providers can now join Unite Us to support the Healthier Oregon transition and prepare to use Unite Us for Open Card HRSN referrals with Acentra. Unite Us, supported by OHA, is offering the following opportunities for Open Card HRSN service providers to learn more and get training support. More opportunities may be added in the future.

General Unite Us trainings

OHA contracts with HIT Commons to provide support and training for HRSN service providers using Connect Oregon/Unite Us community information exchange (CIE). This support is available in 2026–2027 and is for current HRSN service providers and organizations interested in becoming providers.

HIT Commons is working with CCOs to ensure this work complements their efforts. Support for HRSN providers can include direct training and technical assistance, regional workshops, data use support, and more.

Coordinated care organization provider enrollment

If you also plan to enroll as an HRSN service provider with a coordinated care organization (CCO), please contact the CCO directly to learn more about their processes.
