Patients are encouraged to decorate and personalize their rooms. Please note that different rules on decorations apply, depending on where patients are staying in the hospital. Depending on an individual’s needs and room availability, people will stay in either a single room by themselves or in a double room with one roommate. Whenever possible, treatment teams consider roommate compatibility. The number of living units varies by hospital program, but they typically have between 20 and 30 beds.
