2026 technical learning series
The Transformation Center is hosting a six-month technical learning series to support the Assessments for Children in ODHS Custody metric. This is an opt-in collaborative designed to help CCOs, DCOs, ODHS partners, and providers strengthen their performance on the updated 2026 incentive metric.
With new requirements that physical and dental health assessments occur within 30 days of notification, this series creates a structured space for teams to problem solve together, review workflows and build alignment across partners.
Each monthly session combines targeted technical assistance, practical tools and real-time peer sharing to address barriers related to timeliness, care coordination and cross-agency collaboration.
- Audience: Coordinated care organization (CCO) and dental care organization (DCO) staff working on the incentive metric and/or care coordination; provider partners in behavioral health, dentistry and primary care; Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) partners.
- Schedule: March 19, April 16, May 14, June 18, July 16, August 20 (10:05-11:30 a.m. all sessions)

This session explores why timely dental care is especially critical for children with histories of abuse or neglect and how it contributes to their overall well-being. It includes practical insights from a partnership between a CCO and dental office working together to improve outcomes in this area.
