Ensuring Oregon Health Plan coverage of medical grade formula and oral nutritional supplements

Oregon Health Authority (OHA) would like to remind providers serving children with high needs that:

Children who qualify and meet the eligibility criteria can receive medical grade formula and oral nutritional supplements through Oregon Health Plan (OHP) as the primary payer.
For covered formula and supplements, OHP pays before the Women’s, Infant and Children (WIC) program. This includes formula and supplements administered orally and/or via tube feeding.
