Vehicle Inspection

Oregon DEQ is performing system maintenance on DEQ Too from 7 – 11 a.m. (PDT) on Monday, April 22, 2024. Please note the following:

  • You can still get your vehicle inspected by a DEQ Too provider during this time.
  • DEQ Too certificates and ability to check results may not be available until the system comes back online.

​​​​​​​Be sure to bring:

  • Your entire DMV registration renewal form with sections 1 (insurance information) and 2 (signature of owner) completed to receive renewal tags.

  • DEQ accepts Cash, PIN-less Debit/Credit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover) or money order to pay for the emissions test AND your DMV registration fees.

A few th​ings to remember:

  • PLEASE NOTE: For the safety of staff, the public and our furry friends, we encourage pets not to visit us when coming to a DEQ testing station. Service animals are welcome. ​

  • No smoking or tobacco use on State of Oregon property

  • Please turn off cell phones in the testing lane

  • Excessively smoking vehicles will not be tested

  • Make sure your vehicle is in good working condition

  • Vehicles that pose a safety hazard will not be tested

  • Trailers, towed vehicles or other mobile equipment must be disconnected from the vehicle prior to testing

  • Motorcycles, off-road vehicles, trailers and any other vehicle not required to have an emissions test must have VIN inspections performed at the DMV​
