Senate Bill 587 states that Local Public Health Authorities (LPHAs) may conduct outreach and education about tobacco retail licensing within their community. Through local education and outreach activities, LPHAs can meaningfully engage with community members, build and maintain relationships with retailers, and spread awareness of tobacco retail licensing. OHA has developed materials that can be used to support outreach and education with retailers and the greater community.
