Every five years the Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division describes the health of our state through the State Health Assessment (SHA). Data Sources
Health assessments and improvement plans use various types of data to describe a community's health, identify key concerns, and track changes over time. The data in this document come from national, state, and local sources and are collected through methods like surveys, service data, interviews, and focus groups. Using a range of data sources helps create a comprehensive understanding of a community's health strengths and needs.
