The ARP Act requires each district to submit two supplemental plans as part of their ESSER III grant:
Please read the
ESSER III District Plan Requirements and Templates announcement and see below for more detailed information.
The ESSER III District Plans were due on October 20th, 2021. Districts do not need to ask for permission to change the way they spend their ESSER III dollars in between required updates, as long as the expenditures are allowable under the law. Please see the
ESSER III Eligible Uses of Funds document for the full list of eligible uses.
NEW: Districts are required to complete the first update to their Interated Planning Tools (IPTs) as part of this year's
ESSER data collection (due May 6th). Please note the IPT template has been updated. For more information on the required update, please refer to the District Plan Guide linked below.
The Safe Return Plans:
Because the Safe Return Plans meet multiple requirements, both school districts and charter schools are required to complete them.
The Safe Return Plans were due August 27th, 2021 and must be updated every six months. The first update is due on
March 30th, 2022. For more information on the update requirements, please read the
District Supplemental Plans Update.
This plan is
due August 26, 2022 or prior to the start of the 2022-23 school year.
