COVID-19 Case Investigation / Opera Resources

Request Opera Access

If you're a new case investigator and need to request Opera access, please work with your supervisor or your agency's Overall Responsible Party to fill out the Opera/Orpheus Confidentiality Oath, which can be found on the Orpheus webpage in the "Opera/Orpheus Security Documents" section. Prior to filling this document out, you will need to:

  • Thoroughly read the Opera/Orpheus "Security Policies and Procedures" (also available on the Orpheus webpage)
  • Have completed your agency's Information Security and Privacy training within the past 12 months

Once you have completed these steps and filled out the Confidentiality Oath, you or your agency's Overall Resonsible Party must then fill out the online access request form, including your Confidentiality Oath as an attachment. Once your request is received, you will be contacted about next steps. If you have questions about this process, please contact Opera Support at Opera.Support@odhsoha.oregon.gov or call (971) 673-1111, Option 2.

Case Investigation Training

OHA provides a foundational Case Investigation training as a resource for Local Public Health Authorities, Tribes, and their partners to train staff. It is not open to the general public or job seekers.
