Making Changes to Tank Status

Attention: A new, streamlined tool for working with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s Underground Storage Tank program is here. See Underground Storage Tanks in Your DEQ Online.

Change of ownership or temporary closure

If you have recently become an owner/permittee of an underground storage tank, or if you are in the process of selling a UST, please refer to the links below for the appropriate steps to take to correctly change responsibility to the new and current owner of the UST system. It is important to update this information as quickly as possible, so our records correctly reflect the personnel that are legally responsible for the UST system.
