Cultural Toolkits

Created by Food Hero, these toolkits celebrate foods, culture and traditions!

*Food Hero is organized into workgroups that inform programming at all levels - direct/indirect education; policy, systmes and environment (PDE); and social marketing. The cultural workgroups, specifically, enhance Food Hero's reach to communities that disproportionately experience health and resource disparities. African Heritage, Indigenous Peoples, Latinx and the Pasifika workgroups are led by, and include, members of the target communities. These workgroups assess community needs and develop culturally infomred resources, resulting in increased attention to equity.
