Federal changes to OHP and SNAP

Federal changes will affect Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits and Oregon Health Plan (OHP) coverage. Changes will happen at different times, and the rules may be different for each program.

Some people may qualify for an exception to a new rule. Encourage people to check their notices and contact the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) or Oregon Health Authority (OHA) if they have questions.

People can manage their medical, food, cash and child care benefits in several ways. They can get help online, by phone or in person at a local ODHS benefits office. Help is available in many languages.

Wait times at the ONE Customer Ser​vice Center may be longer than usual. Online and mobile options can be a faster way to get benefit information or make changes. People can use these secure options anytime, without waiting on the phone.
