The Office of Education Innovation and Improvement (EII) is focused on creating the conditions that positively impact students, families, and communities. We do this in collaboration with educators, leaders, and partners. Our work is rooted in a clear understanding of Oregon's history and current educational practices. Our programs and practices collectively aim to advance a racially just future for learning where each and every student experiences a sense of belonging, meaningful learning, and academic outcomes that lead to meaningful lives and work to the collective benefit of Oregon. This work is advanced in EII though supporting systemic and district change applying continuous improvement, instructional, and leadership development strategies in collaboration across ODE and other state agencies and partners.
