Key Dates for Accountability and Reporting

News

Scores for Science Summative test records are available in the Assessment Record Updating Application (ARUA), the Accountability Warehouse Extract (AWE), and the Secure Assessment Reports 2.0 (SAR) application as of Thursday, February 5, 2026. Please note that there is a one-day lag for changes to test records in the ARUA (district edits or newly loaded records) to be available in the AWE and SAR applications.

Science Summative test records will typically be available in the Centralized Reporting System (CRS) on the OSAS Portal within one day of test completion and in the ARUA within two business days of test completion.

Please contact your Regional ESD Partner for more information or for assistance accessing assessment records.

The Staff Position Collection is currently open and is set to close on February 9, 2026. The Audit Review window will open on Thursday February 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM and will close on Friday February 20, 2026. Staff Position gathers data for all school, district, and ESD staff that were actively employed for at least 20 consecutive workdays over a span of time that includes December 1, 2025. Resources for this collection, including a recording of the training held on December 3, are available on the Staff Position Collection page.

For more information regarding the Staff Position collection, please contact your Regional ESD Partner or Ryan Clark, Research Analyst, at 971-208-0471.

The Fall Membership report for 2025-26 will be released February 12, 2026. Overall enrollment declined. Student diversity increased again, despite a decline of Hispanic/Latino students for the first time since 2020-21. Non-binary students declined for the second year in a row. The report now contains information on the institution type for each school. Institution information is one of the more common requests received about schools. If you have any questions, please contact Robin Stalcup, Research Analyst.

There will be a live video training webinar at 2 PM on Thursday, February 19 on the ODE District Training page. This webinar will focus on management of assessment data in the Assessment Record Updating Application (ARUA) (i.e., editing posted records; reviewing and correcting errors; applying administration codes) and accessing the test records in the Accountability Warehouse Extract (AWE) and the Secure Assessment Reports 2.0 (SAR) applications. If you do not have access to the ARUA, AWE, or SAR applications, please contact your district security administrator.

There is also a recorded video walkthrough about the ARUA, posted on the Assessment Transactional System page. Please contact your Regional ESD Partner for more information or for assistance with accessing assessment records.

The years of data used for the English Language Arts and Math Average Gap score change indicators will be updated for the 2025-26 run of the ESSA Accountability Details. This coming summer, the indicators will use assessment data from 2024-25 and 2025-26 compared to assessment data from 2022-23 and 2023-24 to calculate the Average Gap Score Change.

For questions, please contact Elyse Bean, Research Analyst.

ODE will be piloting two new collections for the 2025-26 school year, Graduation Pathway and Course Grade History. These collections will include course grades and credits as well as total credits and GPAs for high school students. File formats are available on the ODE District File Formats page. The data will be used to help evaluate ODE and legislative initiatives to support high school success, and ODE is also planning to use the data to support the Direct Admissions Initiative being developed by the Higher Education Coordinating Commission.

The pilot collection, with data to be collected in Summer 2026, will be used to further develop file formats and business rules for full implementation in the 2026-27 school year. ODE is encouraging districts to participate in the pilot to help us ensure the data collection is flexible enough to meet the needs of school districts, ODE and the Direct Admissions Initiative. If you are interested in participating in the pilot, please contact Jon Wiens.
