Individuals
In order to qualify for the Standard Rebate, you must:
- Be an Oregon resident (with a valid ID)
- Purchase or lease a new electric vehicle (Due to a temporary program suspension as of May 1, only vehicles purchased or leased on or before April 30, 2023 are eligible.)
- Purchase or lease a new zero-emission motorcycle (Due to a temporary suspension as of May 1, only motorcycles purchased or leased on or before April 30, 2023 are eligible.)
- Vehicle must be purchased or leased from a certified vehicle dealer OR an original equipment manufacturer. No person-to-person sales allowed.
- Register the vehicle in Oregon, and retain registration for at least 24 months
- Submit your rebate application within six months after the purchase or lease date
Businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies
Are you a business, nonprofit, or government agency? If so, you can also apply for the Standard Rebate (limit of 10 rebates per calendar year). To qualify you must:
- Be based in Oregon or have an Oregon-based affiliate at the time the eligible vehicle is purchased or leased (with local business license, articles of incorporation, or other formation document filed with the Oregon Secretary of State).
- Purchase or lease a new electric vehicle (Due to a temporary program suspension as of May 1, only vehicles purchased or leased on or before April 30, 2023 are eligible.)
- Vehicle must be purchase or leased from a certified vehicle dealer OR an original equipment manufacturer. No person-to-person sales allowed.
- Register the vehicle in Oregon, and retain registration for at least 24 months
- Submit your rebate application within six months after the purchase or lease date
- Submit annual usage data to DEQ for three years
