Rebate Eligibility

The Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program will reopen on Aug. 25 and run through Nov. 4, 2026. Vehicles must be purchased or leased during that time. Rebates will be suspended as of Nov. 5, 2026. Any vehicles purchased or leased while the program is suspended are NOT eligible to apply for Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebates. Income-eligible applicants can apply for Charge Ahead Prequalification now, in advance of the program reopening. For more information, please see the program's press release.

Am I eligible for the Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate?

To be eligible for an Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate, you must be able to answer “Yes" to the following questions:

Are you an Oregon resident? Or is the business, agency or organization you're applying for located in Oregon?

Will the vehicle be registered in Oregon?


Are you planning to purchase or lease an eligible vehicle?



If you answered yes to all the above questions, you may be eligible for an Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate.

You may still be eligible for the Standard Rebate. 


If you plan to plan to purchase a new vehicle, you may qualify for the Standard Rebate. Visit our Standard Rebate page​ for complete information. Used vehicles are not eligible for this type.
