The Archway Solar Energy Facility is a proposed solar photovoltaic energy generation facility with a generating capacity of approximately 400 megawatts. The facility would be located on approximately 3,650 acres. Other proposed components include a collection substation, operations and maintenance building, gen-tie transmission line, and a battery storage system.

Proposed. The Department received a Notice of Intent to apply for a Site Certificate on June 23, 2020. On July 22 and August 1, 2020, the Department issued public notice pursuant to OAR 345-015-0110, initiating a comment period on the Notice of Intent extending from July 22 through September 4, 2020. Following close of the comment period, the Department will issue its Project Order. The Department anticipates receipt of the preliminary application for site certificate in October 2020.
