Under Review/Proposed. On December 22, 2025, the Oregon Department of Energy (Department) received a Notice of Intent (NOI) to file an Application for a Site Certificate (ASC) for the Klamath Falls Energy Center (proposed facility). On February 4, 2026, the Department issued Public Notice of the NOI, Public Comment Period, and Public Informational Meeting. The comment period on the NOI is open from February 4, 2026 to March 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Comments maybe submitted in writing via mail, email, at the in-person informational meeting, or through the ODOE Siting Comment Portal. To submit comments via the Siting Comment Portal select “Klamath Falls Energy Center NOI" from the drop down menu and follow prompts.
