The Klamath Falls Energy Center is a proposed 400-megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind power generation facility, with related or supporting facilities including a 400 MW battery energy storage system. The proposed site includes approximately 8,600 acres (13.4 sq. miles) of privately owned land in Klamath County’s Forestry (F) zoning district in Klamath County, Oregon.

​Under Review/Proposed. On December 22, 2025, the Oregon Department of Energy (Department) received a Notice of Intent (NOI) to file an Application for a Site Certificate (ASC) for the Klamath Falls Energy Center (proposed facility). Public Notice of the NOI, Public Comment Period, and Public Informational Meeting will be issued in January, 2026. The Notice of Intent is available on the Timeline below.
