Facilities

Biglow Canyon Wind Farm is a wind energy facility located within a site boundary comprised of approximately 25,000 acres (39 square miles). The facility consists of 217 wind turbines, with a maximum blade tip height of 445 feet, and a peak generating capacity of 450 megawatts.

Operating. The certificate holder’s 2023 Wildlife Monitoring results are provided in the Project Timeline below. In accordance with a requirement of the Wildlife Monitoring and Mitigation Plan (Site Certificate Condition 61), the Department has posted these results for public review and is accepting comments on the 2023 Wildlife Monitoring results through September 13, 2024. Please submit comments to Sarah Esterson at sarah.esterson@energy.oregon.gov​. ​
