Saddle Butte Energy Facility is a proposed 488-megawatt (MW) wind power generation facility, with related or supporting facilities including a 488 MW battery energy storage system. The proposed site includes approximately 11,500 acres of privately owned land zoned Exclusive Farm Use in Gilliam County.

​Under Review/Proposed. On December 12, 2025, the Oregon Department of Energy (Department) received a Notice of Intent (NOI) to file an Application for a Site Certificate (ASC) for Saddle Butte Energy Facility (proposed facility). The Department is preparing to issue a Public Notice of the NOI, Public Comment Period, and Public Informational Meeting, which will be posted below. The Notice of Intent is available below.
