Facilities

Beaver is a 500 megawatt combined-cycle natural gas plant and one 24.8 megawatt steam turbine
Operating since 1976. The plant is exempt from the site certificate requirement because construction began before the enactment of Oregon´s energy facility siting law. The generating capacity of Unit 8 is below the jurisdiction of the Council.
