Digital Learning Cadre and Newsletter

 

The Oregon Department of Education's Digital Learning Cadre is a statewide professional learning network that brings together education leaders, teachers, instructional coaches, EdTech specialists, administrators, and educational partners interested in advancing digital literacy & learning, closing barriers, and boosting student achievement across Oregon.

The Cadre offers opportunities to explore best practices in emerging technologies, share promising practices, learn from fellow educators, and collaborate on the opportunities and challenges shaping today's digital learning landscape.

Sessions feature ODE updates, guest presenters, district success stories, resource sharing, and collaborative discussions focused on practical strategies participants can use in their own schools and districts. Topics may include artificial intelligence (AI), digital literacy, digital well-being, student data privacy, digital equity, high-quality instructional materials (HQIM), instructional technology, and other emerging issues in digital learning.

Cadre Schedule

All sessions are held virtually from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. PT on the third Friday of each month.

Digital Learning Cadre sessions are recorded and shared exclusively with registered cadre members. Those unable to attend will also have access to recordings, presentation materials, and shared resources.
