School Nutrition Program Regulations

  • Oregon Revised Statues:  The Oregon Revised Statues (ORS) are the codified laws of the State of Oregon.  The ORS is published every two years.  Each edition incorporates all laws, and changes to laws, enacted by the Legislative Assembly through the odd-numbered year regular session referenced in the volume titles for that edition.
    • Chapter 326
      • 326.051 Board function; rules
    • Chapter 327
      • 327.527 Summer breakfast and lunch reimbursement; grants and contracts; rules.
      • 327.532 School lunch program
      • 327.535 School breakfast program; reimbursement; rules
      • 327.537 Requirements for providing reimburseable meals;prohibitions and requirements when student owes money.
      • 327.540 School after-school meal and snack program; grants; rules.
      • 327.545 Reimbursements to school districts that provide breakfast and lunch based on categorical eligibility or incomes that do not exceed 300 percent of federal guidelines; rules.

  • Oregon Administrative Rules: Administrative Rules are created by most agencies and some boards and commissions to implement and interpret their statutory authority (ORS 183.31(9)).  Agencies may adopt, amend, repeal or renumber rules, permanently or temporarily (for up to 180 days).  For the Child Nutrition Programs, this is the Oregon Department of Education and the State Board of Education that is the rule making body.
