ODE - USDA Foods Program Course

Required or Optional?

Both.

Any Recipient Agencies (RAs) participating in the USDA Foods Program must have their NSLP (National School Lunch Program) Primary Program Contact, and their SFSP (Summer Food Service Program) Primary Program Contact, complete the ODE-CNP-Oregon USDA Foods Program training course in Workday.

Optional ODE USDA Foods training for other staff members is not available now but is coming soon!

Description of Required Training

The ODE-CNP-USDA Foods Program training is an introductory foundational training designed for food service staff, directors, and managers operating the USDA Foods Program. It will expand the staff members' knowledge of all the USDA Foods program options available, program participation and requirements and improve their use of USDA Foods entitlement dollars for their organization.

Certificates

Participants will receive a certificate of completion from Workday for each module completed and quiz passed. After passing the quiz, you can view the certificate in your EEL Workday account.
